Moovy is a personal finance app. This page explains what information the app handles and what you can do with it.
What stays on your device
Everything you enter — income, expenses, categories, notes and which items are paid — is stored on your device. Moovy works fully offline and does not require an account.
What is sent to our server (only if you sign in)
If you choose to sign in, Moovy syncs your entries with our server so you can use the same data on your devices. We store:
- your account identifier and, depending on how you sign in, your e-mail address and name (from Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or the e-mail and password you provide — passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text);
- the income and expense entries you create, and their paid status.
Connections to the server use HTTPS.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.
- We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers in the app.
- We do not read your bank accounts: Moovy only contains what you type in.
Sign in with Apple and Google
If you use these options, Apple or Google confirms your identity and shares with Moovy only an identifier and, if you allow it, your e-mail address and name. Their handling of your data is governed by their own policies.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account at any time in the app, under Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and all entries stored on our server. Data that exists only on your device is removed when you delete the app.
Children
Moovy is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
